Who are we?
We are a four people who enjoy writing and performing music together. Call it rock, pop, alternative, indie.. Those are labels and we use them when necessary. But we hope to be more than a word or a narrow expectation. We've been influenced mightily by many of the same bands you have, we are called to play music, to inspire and move people and we hope to make good on any implicit promises as well as pay homage to those who have inspired us.
After about 6 months of hard weekly work, songs written and changed, words rearranged, a thousand e-mails a week back-and-forth, a million cans of pop drank, a hundred bags of chips, doughnuts, huge Wetzl suppers, our first show is on Sunday, September 12 at Sadie Rene's in Canton, Ohio. We go on at 9 pm, and we're not sure how long we can play but we will play until they turn the lights and sound off and then we'll quietly sing and play after that. Even when they throw us out the door and steal our instruments we'll still sing and play. Even when they run us out of town we will sing and play. You'll always hear us. In the cities, swamps and fields. In the wind, and with your ear to the ground. Sing and play.
